One stone beats two, and the maths is not close
A pair of earrings has a problem a single stud does not: the two stones have to match. Same carat, same colour, same clarity, and the same look under the same light. Two stones that pass that test are harder to source than one stone twice the size, and the premium gets steeper as the stones get bigger.
Buy singly and that premium disappears entirely. The whole budget lands on one stone, which means a visibly better grade, a cleaner cut, or simply more weight than the same money would buy split across two ears.
Every catalogue page ranking for men's diamond earrings sells you a pair by default, because a pair is a larger invoice. We will quote you either, and we will tell you which one your budget is better spent on before you decide.
If you do want both ears, buy them as a matched pair from one seller at one time. Matching a second stone to a stud bought two years ago is the hardest version of this job, and it is usually more expensive than the original pair would have been. Single stud
The most common men's purchase and the best value on this page. No matching premium, so the entire budget goes into one stone. If you want a stone somebody notices, this is the route that gets you there.
Matched pair
Both ears, both stones graded and chosen to match each other. The matching itself is a real cost — two stones that look identical are harder to find than one stone twice the size, so expect the pair to cost more than double a single.
Bali and hoops
Smaller stones across a heavier metal frame, so the day's gold rate moves the quote more than the grades do. The choice when you want presence on the ear without putting the money into one large stone.
Gold settings
Yellow, white or rose, and the karat is a real decision rather than a finish. Higher karat is softer, which matters on a piece worn daily and knocked about. We will tell you when a lower karat is the more sensible metal for how you live.
Size, setting, and not losing it
The setting decides how a men's stud reads far more than the carat does. A stone set low and tight against the lobe looks deliberate at any size. The same stone in a tall four-prong setting catches on collars and reads louder than most men want. Ask to see the weight you are considering in two settings before you commit to either.
Then the unglamorous part: use a screw-back. A push-back is quicker to fit and works loose over a day of ordinary movement, which is how single studs get lost. A screw-back threads onto the post and stays. It costs a little more on the making, and it is the only advice on this page about keeping money rather than spending it.

How much do men's diamond earrings cost in India?
You pay the factory price, because the workshop quoting you is the one making the piece. The number moves with the carat weight, the colour and clarity grades, the gold weight and karat, and the making. A single stud is quoted on one stone, which is a different sum from a pair — message us on WhatsApp and we will price the piece you actually want.
Should I buy one earring or a pair?
Most men buy one, and that changes the arithmetic in your favour. A pair has to match — two stones of the same weight, colour and clarity that also look identical, which is a sourcing premium. A single stud has no matching problem, so the whole budget goes into one stone. If you want one visibly better stone rather than two ordinary ones, buying singly is how you get it.
What size stud actually looks right on a man?
Smaller than most people expect, and the deciding factor is the setting rather than the carat. A stone set low and tight reads as deliberate; the same weight in a tall setting reads as costume. Are bali and hoops the same thing?

Screw-back or push-back for a single stud?
Screw-back, for anything you would be upset to lose. A push-back is faster to put on and easier to work loose over a day; a screw-back threads onto the post and stays there. It is a small cost difference on the making and the only part of this page that is about not losing money rather than spending it.
Lab grown or natural?
We make both, so we have no side to sell you. Lab grown costs less for the same certified spec and the stone is chemically and optically the same. Natural carries the older tradition. Neither is an investment — diamond jewellery of any origin usually resells well below what you paid.
