Diamond jewellery for the occasion, at factory price
Jewellery bought for an occasion is bought against a date, and a date is the single biggest reason people overpay. The proposal is in three weeks, the wedding is in six, the anniversary is on Friday — so the piece gets bought from whoever is nearest, at whatever is quoted, with the certificate glanced at rather than read. Every jeweller in the city knows this. We would rather you did too.
We make engagement rings, wedding and bridal jewellery, anniversary pieces and gifts in our own factory workshop at Bharat Diamond Bourse, and we sell them direct. There is no distributor and no showroom rent in the number you are quoted. What you get is a piece that looks like it came from a premium showroom, at the price of the factory it actually came from.
Every stone is IGI, GIA or HRD certified and you see the certificate before you pay. Nothing about a lab grown diamond on a hand announces itself — it is the same material as a mined stone, graded by the same laboratories — which is exactly why it has become the normal choice for an engagement ring and a very sensible one for a gift.
The practical advice, whatever the occasion: tell us the date at the start of the conversation, not the end. A single custom piece takes about two weeks from agreed design. A bridal set with several matching pieces needs longer. If the date is too close for what you want, we will say so rather than rush the making.
Lab grown diamond engagement rings
The largest single stone most people ever buy, and the piece where the manufacturer-versus-showroom gap is widest in rupees. We make solitaires, halos, three-stone and vintage-style settings in 14k and 18k gold, and in platinum on request. Our standing advice: put the money into cut grade before carat weight. A well-cut smaller stone outperforms a badly-cut larger one in every light that matters.

Wedding and bridal diamond jewellery
Bridal jewellery is usually several pieces that have to sit together — a necklace and earrings, a mangalsutra, bands for both of you. Made in one workshop at one time, the stones and the metal colour match properly, which is harder to achieve when pieces are bought from different counters over several months.
We make matching wedding bands, plain or diamond-set, sized for both hands. For the full set, start the conversation six to eight weeks out. It can be done faster; it is better not to have to.
Anniversary gifts
The usual choices are an eternity or half-eternity band, solitaire studs, a pendant on a fine chain, or a larger stone to replace or sit beside the original engagement ring. The last one is a conversation worth having with us rather than deciding alone: whether to reset the original stone, add to it, or start again changes the design completely.
Tell us the year if it matters — some people want the traditional stone or metal for a particular anniversary, and some just want the thing she has been looking at. Either works.
Gifts for birthdays, Valentine's Day and festivals
For a gift where you are not certain of taste or size, solitaire studs and pendants are the safe pieces — they fit everyone and go with everything, and they are the two things most often worn every day afterwards. A ring as a surprise gift is a sizing risk; tell us and we will talk you through it.
Dhanteras, Diwali and Akshaya Tritiya are the busiest weeks of the year for us, as for every jeweller in Mumbai. Lab grown pricing does not move with the festival calendar, so there is no reason to wait for a date to buy — but there is a good reason to order two or three weeks before one.
Common questions
- How far ahead should I order for a wedding or engagement?
- About two weeks for a single custom piece from the day the design is agreed. Three to four weeks for a matched set. Six to eight weeks is comfortable for full bridal jewellery. If your date is closer than that, message us anyway and we will tell you honestly what can be made well in the time.
- Is a lab grown diamond appropriate for an engagement ring?
- Yes, and increasingly it is the default. It is the same material as a mined diamond, certified by the same laboratories, and nobody can tell by looking. The difference is the price, which is why the same budget buys a noticeably larger or better-cut stone.
- Can you make matching wedding bands for both of us?
- Yes. Plain, diamond-set, or one of each, in matching metal and finish, sized for each hand. Made together so they actually match.
- What if it is a surprise and I do not know the ring size?
- Tell us. There are a few reliable ways to get a size without asking, and most of our designs can be resized afterwards. We will pick a design where that is easy.
- Can you deliver a gift to a different address, or by a date?
- Yes. We deliver across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai, and across India with insurance. Tell us it is a gift and the date it needs to arrive, and we will plan the making and the delivery backwards from that.
- What do people usually buy for an anniversary?
- Eternity bands, solitaire studs, and pendants are the most common. Upgrading or resetting the original engagement stone is the other big one, and it is worth a proper conversation before deciding.
- Should I wait for Dhanteras or a festival offer?
- Not on our account. Lab grown pricing is a production cost, not a scarcity price, so it does not swing with the festival calendar. The only thing festivals change is how busy the workshop is, so order earlier rather than later.
- Why buy an occasion piece from a factory instead of a showroom?
- Same certified stone, same finish, one less margin — usually 20–30% less for the same specification. And because the piece has not been made yet, it can be exactly what you want rather than what happens to be in the case.
