An engagement ring is usually the largest single stone somebody buys, which makes it the piece where the manufacturer-versus-retailer gap is widest in absolute terms. It is also the piece where people are most likely to buy on a deadline, from whoever is nearest, at whatever is quoted. Those two facts together are why we bother saying any of this.
We make solitaires, halos, three-stone and vintage-style settings, in 14k and 18k gold and in platinum on request. A custom piece takes about two weeks from agreed design to finished ring. If you are working towards a specific date, tell us the date at the start of the conversation rather than the end.
Every stone is IGI, GIA or HRD certified, and we will send you the certificate before you pay anything. Our honest advice on an engagement ring: prioritise cut grade over carat weight. A well-cut smaller stone outperforms a badly-cut larger one in every lighting condition that matters, and it is the single most common place people spend money badly.

Common questions
- Will anyone be able to tell it is lab grown?
- Not by looking. Lab grown and mined diamonds are the same material, and the distinction requires laboratory equipment. The certificate states it, because certification is honest by design — but nothing about the ring on a hand announces it.
- How much should I spend on an engagement ring?
- There is no correct multiple of anyone's salary — that number came from a mid-century advertising campaign. Decide what you want to spend, tell us, and we will tell you the best ring that money makes. If we cannot make something good at that figure we will say so.
- Can we design it together?
- That is how most of these go. Send a reference photo or a description, we send back designs, and we iterate until it is right before anything is made.
